Mature Singles HOPE Volunteer Corps Trip to Nepal

September and October

By popular demand, we are hosting our first Volunteer Corps for people over the age of 40 (no children allowed; we have another trip in December which is open to all ages). All the volunteers will spend the week in Kathmandu, engaging with the programs of HOPEww Nepal. We have a school, a vocational training center (computer classes and spoken English), and a women’s economic empowerment program (tailoring classes, beauty culture, and entrepreneurship training). For those who want to stay longer, we have the option of extending the trip by four days. Those four days will be spent in the village of Chhaimale (one and a half hours outside of Kathmandu) in the foothills of the Himalayas.

The scholarships are intended to be used by families for whom the help will make the difference between being able to sign up or not. If you are in need, please get in touch with Brianna at the Swamp right away at brianna@campswamp.com as there are a limited number available and they will be distributed by the Swamp on a first come basis.
