What: HOPE worldwide Chapters around the United States are joining together to honor the life and legacy of Dr. King through a Nationwide food drive! At North River, we will be joining this effort to help support our local food pantries and community organizations.
Why: Because of the impacts of Covid 19, food insecurity and needs have increased throughout the USA. More than 80 percent (4 out of 5) food banks are serving more people now than they did a year ago.
How: Join your family, family group, community and friends to collect items needed for donations and write cards (written by middle and high school students). Dropoff donated items to the North River Church parking lot on Sunday, January 17th from 1PM-3PM
